Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist based in Chennai. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for performing keyword research, conducting SEO audits, building backlinks, and analyzing web analytics. Additional duties will include on-page SEO optimization, content strategy development, and executing plans to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.

results-driven SEO Specialist
with proven experience in
Local SEO
and
E-commerce SEO
to join our team. If you love driving organic growth, boosting rankings, and optimizing websites for conversions, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute SEO strategies for local businesses and e-commerce sites.
  • Optimize websites, product/category pages, and Google Business Profiles.
  • Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits.
  • Build and manage local citations, backlinks, and structured data.
  • Monitor performance using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
  • Collaborate with content, dev, and marketing teams to improve visibility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years SEO experience
    (local & e-commerce projects).
  • Proven track record of improving rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  • Strong knowledge of GBP optimization, schema markup, and site audits.
  • Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
