We are an international apparel manufacturing company based in Chennai. We're a new and ambitious e-commerce brand that's passionate about creating an effortless shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for an ambitious, strategic, motivated search engine optimization specialist.

Responsibilities -Research and identify the best keywords to drive traffic and sales.

Optimize product pages, blogs, and meta data for higher rankings.

Run technical SEO checks (site speed, mobile, crawl issues) and coordinate fixes.

Build quality backlinks and track competitor strategies.

Monitor performance (traffic, rankings, conversions) and prepare simple reports.

Stay updated with the latest SEO and e-commerce trends.

Required skill sets-

Around 2 years of experience in SEO, ideally with some e-commerce exposure.

Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.

Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.

Experience in keyword research, content optimization, and site audits.

Understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar).

Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.

Knowledge of link-building strategies and outreach.

Awareness of Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for technical SEO fixes. Familiarity with AI SEO tools (SurferSEO, Clearscope, etc.). Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). Exposure to structured data / schema markup. We're a growing e-commerce startup - offering ₹8,000-₹9,000 to start, with scope for increments and bonuses based on performance.
