Roles and Responsibilities

1)First level support for DCLAN team, Cisco Identity Services Engine, SDWAN, Firewall, Firewall automation, Partner firewall ,VPN, Proxy, load balancer, & Infra (Monitoring Tool) Teams by monitoring the alert queue ,analysing the network security Incidents and taking care of the incident based on the criticality of the alert

Business support for all topics related to the network & network security complexes and their use for internal and external customers.

Follow Team Process and Drive collaboration with multiple Teams.

Dispatch of tasks, incident tickets, service and change requests, group mailboxes, customer requests

Monitoring of the device, engaging the respective Teams based on the alerts and taking action to avoid the outage on business.

Effective management and response to the mails received in Shared Mailbox.

Provide updates in line with the agreed communications processes.

Must be able to multitask in a stressful environment.

Ensure all Major Incidents are updated in the Respective Teams chat.

Work with other teams to identify improvement opportunities.

11)   Performs other work related duties as assigned.

12)   Develops process and procedures that ensure Incident Management process is continuously improving.

13)   Experience with the ITSM ticketing tools such as Service Now for incident/ticket logging, updates & resolution.

Qualification:

University degree in Computer Science with comparable practical experience

Eg:  B. Tech/ BE/ M.Sc./MCA / B.Sc

Approx. 3+ years of experience in IT operations in Network and Network Security  and Incident Management Processes ( Mandatory ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification )

3+ Years of Experience in monitoring / managing / Troubleshooting of Network Devices like Firewall /WAN/ DC LAN/Cisco Identity Services Engine/LAN/SDWAN/Loadbalancer /Server.

Experience on Elastic / Grafana and Knowledge on Python & Powershell will be additional advantage.

CCNA / CCNP / Network- Network Security Certifications required.

A fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.
