About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished and visionary Principal Architect with profound expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a demonstrated history of success in Pre-Sales. This critical role uniquely blends strategic thought leadership, deep technical mastery, and outstanding communication abilities to champion the adoption of Google Cloud solutions and secure high-impact client engagements.

As a Cloud Evangelist, you will be a prominent voice for Niveus and Google Cloud, inspiring clients and the broader market with the immense possibilities of cloud computing. Concurrently, as a Principal Architect, you will serve as the technical cornerstone of our pre-sales initiatives, meticulously designing innovative, resilient, and scalable cloud solutions that precisely address our clients' most pressing business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Pre-Sales Solution Architecture:

• Lead in-depth technical discovery sessions with prospective clients, meticulously analysing their current IT environments, strategic business objectives, critical pain points, and detailed technical requirements.

• Architect sophisticated, compelling, and commercially viable Google Cloud solutions (covering IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Data Analytics, AI/ML, Security, Networking, and Application Modernization) that are tightly aligned with client strategies and Niveus's core competencies.
• Develop comprehensive technical proposals, detailed architectural blueprints, precise statements of work (SOWs), and accurate effort estimations for all proposed solutions.
• Conduct impactful technical deep-dive workshops, interactive demonstrations, and targeted proof-of-concepts (POCs) to vividly illustrate the tangible value and technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

• Serve as the authoritative technical lead throughout the entire sales cycle, fostering strong client relationships and collaborating seamlessly with sales teams to drive opportunities to successful closure.

• Cloud Evangelism & Market Thought Leadership:

• Act as a definitive Google Cloud Platform subject matter expert, continuously monitoring and mastering the latest GCP services, features, best practices, and emerging industry trends.

• Deliver captivating presentations, insightful webinars, and interactive workshops to educate and inspire clients, strategic partners, and internal teams on Google Cloud capabilities and Niveus's differentiated service offerings.
• Author high-quality whitepapers, engaging blog posts, detailed case studies, and other thought leadership content to significantly enhance Niveus's market visibility and reinforce our expert positioning.

• Represent Niveus at premier industry conferences, key Google Cloud events, and professional meetups, actively networking with prospective clients and strategic partners.

• Advisory & Practice Development:

• Provide high-level strategic technical consultation to clients on their end-to-end cloud adoption journeys, complex migration strategies, digital modernization initiatives, and future-state cloud architectures.

• Collaborate closely with Niveus's delivery and engineering teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to project execution, guaranteeing that proposed solutions are not only deliverable but also exceed client expectations.
• Proactively identify emerging business opportunities and develop innovative service offerings based on evolving market demands and advancements within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
• Act as a mentor and guide for junior architects and pre-sales engineers, fostering their technical growth and professional development within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated senior architect or lead technical role specifically focused on Google Cloud Platform.
• Demonstrable track record of success in a pre-sales or solutions architecture capacity, consistently contributing to the closure of significant cloud deals.

• Profound and extensive architectural expertise across the full spectrum of core Google Cloud services, including but not limited to:

• Compute: Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions.

• Networking: VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS.
• Storage: Cloud Storage, Filestore, Firestore, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Memorystore.
• Data & Analytics: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Looker, Data Catalog, Data Fusion, Composer.
• AI/ML: Strong practical understanding of Vertex AI, pre-trained APIs, MLOps principles, and Generative AI capabilities.
• Security: Cloud IAM, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, Cloud Key Management Service (KMS).
• Operations: Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Trace, Cloud Audit Logs.

• Identity: Cloud Identity, Managed Service for Microsoft Active Directory.

• Possession of multiple, current Google Cloud Certifications, including:

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect (mandatory)

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Professional Machine Learning Engineer (highly desirable)

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate highly complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both highly technical and non-technical executive audiences.

• Superior presentation and public speaking abilities, coupled with a strong aptitude for influence and persuasion.
• Demonstrated capability to build and nurture robust relationships with clients, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with competitive cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a valuable asset, enabling effective competitive positioning and differentiation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
