Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and implement complex algorithms for data insights
  • Apply agile software development processes to improve back-end systems iteratively, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis
  • Integrate front-end and back-end data sources to facilitate comprehensive user flow analysis and powerful data analysis
  • Create data pipelines for cleaning, transforming, and aggregating disparate data sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
  • Develop predictive models for business-wide insights, leveraging industry-wide knowledge of visualization and analytics tools

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools, with a strong foundation in programming languages and data structures
  • Familiarity with Bigdata & Google Cloud platforms, including expertise in Google Cloud Bigdata toolset: BigQuery, Airflow, CI/CD
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data warehousing, ETL process building/maintenance, and data governance
  • Effective communication skills for technical concepts, with the ability to work on dynamic research teams with concurrent projects
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field, with a focus on data science and engineering
  • Professional certification in data engineering or a related field
