Position: Accountant

About the Position

We are seeking an exceptional and highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic Accounts team in Kochi, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, extensive ERP experience, and the ability to ensure compliance with finance laws and best practices. The role demands precision, analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain a well-structured Chart of Accounts.
  • Facilitate timely monthly closures by managing key factors such as tax returns, fixed assets, and ledger data.
  • Record daily transactions accurately in the ERP system.
  • Monitor and review accounting and system reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and issue financial reports, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and Balance Sheets.
  • Manage period closings and ensure smooth transition to the next accounting cycle.
  • Assist in annual external audits, liaising with auditors and providing all necessary documentation.
  • Formulate general ledger and financial closing reports with detailed insights into transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with national finance laws and organizational protocols.
  • Regularly prepare and disclose financial reports to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the FM & CFO.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounts or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in F & A.
  • Strong accounting and financial management background.
  • Qualified Inter CA

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems for Accounts and Finance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • High ethical standards, dependability, and honesty.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
