Job Description: Senior Accountant

We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) and have 5–6 years of hands-on experience in an auditing firm. This role involves managing the organization's financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities :-

Payments & Bank Reconciliation

  • Ensure timely processing of payments as per organizational schedules.
  • Regularly reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Tally Updation

  • Record all cash and bank payments in Tally with accurate supporting documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for bank receipts and transactions.

Payment List Management

  • Update the Purchase Approval Follow-up Sheet and Payment List after each transaction.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system for all bank and cash vouchers.

Tax Deduction

  • Accurately calculate and deduct TDS for all payments, including advances, in line with current tax regulations.

Salary Management

  • Record salary payable entries in Tally with precision and ensure timely updates.

Vendor Advance Review

  • Periodically review vendor advances and follow up for timely settlements.

TDS Management

  • Prepare and file quarterly TDS statements and manage monthly TDS payments.

Audit and Due Diligence

  • Assist in the timely completion of statutory audits, internal audits, and due diligence reviews.

Requirements

  • B.Com degree (mandatory).
  • 5–6 years of experience in an auditing firm.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Tally and related accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for interacting with internal and external teams.
  • Male candidates preferred (if applicable as per organizational requirement).

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and skill level).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
