The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and developing
new business opportunities and partnerships to fuel the growth and success of the
company. This role involves researching market trends, building relationships with
potential clients and partners, and driving the sales and marketing efforts to achieve
business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify potential target markets, industries, and
customer segments.
Analyze market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
Gather and synthesize data to inform business development strategies.
Lead Generation:
Identify potential clients, partners, and customers through various channels,
including online research, networking, and referrals.
Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads.
Proactively reach out to prospects to initiate discussions and build relationships.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key industry
players.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to establish connections.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to align strategies
and tactics.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective
clients and partners.
Negotiate and finalize agreements, contracts, and partnerships.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.
Market Expansion:
Identify opportunities for expanding into new markets, regions, or customer
segments.
Develop market entry strategies and execute expansion plans.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and
customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor& s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Masters degree
a plus).
Proven experience in business development with IT Service based company.
Strong understanding of the industry, market trends, and competition.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
