Role Description

This is a full-time role located in Ahmedabad for a Senior Executive Purchase. The Senior Executive Purchase will manage procurement processes for our Saltworks and Bromine plant. It includes sourcing of spares, bought out items, lab chemicals capex items and equipments procurement. Supplier negotiations, and coordination of procurement activities will be a part of the role. The role also involves ensuring the timely acquisition of resources while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness. Additional responsibilities include supplier relationship management, inventory control, and adherence to company procurement policies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of managing procurement for a chemical manufacturing company
  • Proficiency in procurement, supplier relationship management, and inventory management
  • Strong negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in sourcing and managing materials in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Ability to work independently and lead procurement projects
