Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead and contribute to a range of data-driven project deliverables. This role requires a hands-on professional who can design and implement advanced analytical models, collaborate across functions, mentor junior team members, and contribute to shaping the data strategy across engagements.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead end-to-end data science projects from data exploration to model deployment.


• Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights.


• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.


• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.


• Contribute to defining the overall data science and analytics strategy.


• Promote innovation and best practices in data usage, modeling, and experimentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience


• 5 – 7 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong track record of delivering successful data-driven projects.

Programming


• Proficient in Python or R.


• Experience with key libraries/frameworks: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.

Database & Data Handling


• Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.


• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is a plus.

Machine Learning & Statistics


• Solid expertise in ML techniques including:

o Regression, Classification, Clustering

o Decision Trees, Neural Networks

o Statistical Modelling and Evaluation Metrics

Big Data Technologies


• Experience working with big data tools like:

o Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.

Cloud Platforms


• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform:

o AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


• Capable of deploying models and processing large-scale datasets in the cloud.

Version Control


• Proficient with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

Education


• BTech/MTech in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.


• Relevant Data Science certifications are a strong advantage.
