Responsibilities:

  • Act like the owner of the brand, taking complete ownership of its growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that increases sales and profitability year on year.
  • Work closely with sourcing, supply chain management, operations, 3PLs, listing and content, catalogue, digital marketing, D2C, and finance teams to ensure smooth coordination and operation of brand activities.
  • Coordinate with sourcing and supply chain management teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery, while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings and content on all relevant e-commerce channels specially 

     to maximize visibility and conversions.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns that drive brand awareness and sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the D2C team to ensure an optimal customer experience across all e-commerce channels, including the brand's own website.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the brand and work with the finance team to manage the brand's P&L, including setting targets and budgets, monitoring performance, and adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Work with the catalog team to ensure the brand's products are accurately listed, priced, and described.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth and adjust strategy as needed.
  • Develop and manage relationships with third-party sellers and partners to expand the brand's reach and sales.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports to management that provide clear insights into brand progress, including sales, profitability, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in brand management or e-commerce, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability for a brand.
  • Experience selling on is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing inventory levels and optimizing stock levels.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for brand performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability growth for a brand.

Technical Skills:

  • Brand strategy: Experience in developing and implementing brand strategies, including positioning, differentiation, and brand architecture.
  • Market research: Proficiency in market research methodologies to gather insights on target audiences, consumer behavior, and market trends.
  • Brand identity development: Knowledge of brand identity elements, such as logos, visual assets, typography, and color palettes, and their impact on brand perception.
  • Brand storytelling: Ability to craft compelling brand narratives and stories that resonate with target audiences and build brand loyalty.
  • Brand guidelines: Familiarity with developing and maintaining brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Digital marketing: Understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, email marketing, and online advertising, to amplify brand messaging.
