Job Summary
:
We seek a Product Compliance Specialist with significant, hands-on compliance execution experience to join our product team. Your mandate is to critically evaluate our contract and compliance lifecycle management solution, ensuring that it meets best-in-class compliance, legal, regulatory, and risk requirements. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping product development and ensuring it aligns with industry standards, regulatory demands, and client operational realities.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Critically evaluate end-to-end product features against current compliance, regulatory, and legal requirements in contract management.
- Identify gaps, risks, and process improvements in compliance automation, clause libraries, audit trails, and approval workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and legal advisors to translate regulatory knowledge into actionable product features.
- Lead the validation of regulatory alignment — ensuring automated workflows, templates, and notifications enable proactive compliance management.
- Develop, test, and refine compliance monitoring, version control, document retention, and audit-readiness features.
- Provide expert guidance on compliance best practices, process integrity, risk management, and documentation requirements.
- Identify and evaluate compliance risks in new features, integrations, and AI-driven contract analysis modules.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and third-party consultants as required.
- Collaborate with development team members to design and implement Sharepoint/ DMS specific solutions.
- Provide end-user training and support for the CCLM solutions.
Duties Include-
- Mapping regulatory and legal requirements to product features and user stories.
- Coordinating with product, engineering, and QA teams on compliance criteria and feature validation.
- Leading user acceptance testing (UAT) from a compliance perspective.
- Maintaining a knowledge base of evolving regulatory trends affecting compliance management solutions.
- Driving continual product improvement with sales and marketing teams through a compliance and risk management lens.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in contract management, compliance execution, or related regulatory operations roles.
- In-depth understanding of compliance management systems, contract lifecycle processes, and risk controls.
- Demonstrated track record in implementing or auditing compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, or industry-specific regulations).
- Extensive knowledge of technology-driven contract management: clause libraries, digital signature workflows, centralized repositories, and analytics.
- Experience with workflow automation, audit trails, approval management, and integration with legal/business systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to translate regulatory requirements into product design.
- Proficiency with contemporary contract/compliance software is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills; able to work cross-functionally and deliver in a fast-paced, agile environment.
