Position Overview

We are looking for a data-driven Product Manager with strong analytical skills and healthcare domain expertise to drive product strategy for our claims processing platform. This role requires the ability to analyze complex healthcare data using SQL and translate insights into actionable product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Define and execute product roadmap for claims processing, provider management, and member services
  • Analyze healthcare claims data to identify optimization opportunities and user pain points
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to understand healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements
  • Drive product decisions based on data analysis, user feedback, and business impact

Data Analysis & Insights:

  • Write complex SQL queries to analyze claims patterns, processing times, and error rates
  • Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders on key product metrics and KPIs
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on claims adjudication accuracy, provider network utilization, and member experience
  • Identify data quality issues and work with engineering teams on resolution strategies

Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with clinical operations, finance, and compliance teams to understand business requirements
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive interfaces for complex healthcare workflows
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Present product insights and recommendations to executive leadership

Domain Expertise:

  • Maintain deep understanding of healthcare claims lifecycle, from submission to payment
  • Stay current on healthcare regulations, payer policies, and industry trends
  • Understand provider network management, prior authorization workflows, and member eligibility processes
  • Analyze competitive landscape, available tools and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare or data-heavy domains
  • Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing large datasets and complex data relationships
  • Experience with healthcare claims processing, medical coding, or payer operations
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience with analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar) and A/B testing methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present data insights to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry experience with knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
  • Experience with healthcare data standards and interoperability (HL7, FHIR)
  • Background in healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or payer systems
  • Experience with machine learning applications in healthcare or claims processing
  • MBA or advanced degree in healthcare administration, data science, or related field
