Job Description:
Trainer-cum-Team Lead (Sales & Marketing)Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trainer-cum-Team Lead to join our Sales & Marketing team. The role involves a dual responsibility—training and developing the sales team while also leading and managing performance to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership qualities, proven sales expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide team members.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Develop structured training materials, presentations, and role-play exercises for the sales team.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements for better outcomes.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to underperforming team members.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
- Allocate tasks, set performance goals, and monitor progress.
- Ensure the team adheres to company policies, processes, and ethical standards.
- Organize regular team meetings to review performance, address challenges, and strategize improvements.
Sales & Marketing Execution:
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and markets.
- Support the team in closing high-value deals and handling key accounts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to optimize sales approaches.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present performance reports, sales forecasts, and training outcomes to senior management.
- Analyze sales metrics to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Track individual and team KPIs to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
- Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience (5–7 years) in Sales, Marketing, or Training, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and MS Office.
- Ability to inspire, coach, and drive performance in a team-oriented environment.
