Job Description:

Key accountabilities:

The key accountabilities for this role are, but not limited to..

• Responsible for driving transformation from outputs (projects) to outcomes (products) and shifting our ways of working to a product mindset (speed / quality / value)
• Develop strong and deep understanding of the organization's goals and priorities, competitive market positioning and market differentiation
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify new product ideas/concepts based on industry and market trend analysis
• Responsible for Product Ownership including problem framing, opportunities shaping, backlog management, development stages, and pilot & rollout planning
• Implement learnings to optimize product and operations to promote data-driven decisions throughout product lifecycle
• Foster product thinking, mindset and rigor through harnessing data-driven decision making and test-and-learn practices and methods
• Develop and test hypothesis partnering with Customer Research teams to generate objective evidence and leveraging data-driven decision tools and methods
• Work closely with the client/internals to understand their problem statements and propose solutions
• Manage multiple stakeholders throughout the engagement/product lifecycle
• Support and lead client/internal workshops/elicitation sessions
• Have an excellent command over Requirement Management using tools e.g. Jira or similar
• Have proven hands-on experience driving the development of software products at Enterprise scale
• Have experience in planning and prioritization of product feature backlog and development for the product
• Have the ability to define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
• Can assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories & defining acceptance criteria.

Specific responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product lead to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
• Lead the planning product release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
• Research and Analyze market, competition, users, and the roadmap for the product and identify new features
• Conduct gap analysis to identify product/features to be developed
• Review groomed stories

Experience/Qualifications

• MBA from a Tier-1 B-School
• Overall, 6-10 years of relevant experience in digital product management / business strategy
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills working with stakeholders in distributed locations
• Good industry knowledge of one or more industry verticals such as Retail, CPG, Financial Services, Automotive and Travel & Hospitality
• Relevant Product Management and Agile certifications such as SAFe PMPO / CSPO etc. with good exposure to working with multidisciplinary agile teams comprising product managers, marketers, finance, creative, analytics and engineering
