Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Word and PPT Remediation specialist for a full-time, mid-level role based in Hyderabad. The position involves enhancing accessibility, formatting, and compliance of Word documents and PowerPoint presentations to meet industry standards for clients across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate will have expertise in remediation practices and strong command of Microsoft applications.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Accessibility remediation experience with demonstrated ability to make Word and PowerPoint documents accessible to all users, including compliance with Section 508. (Mandatory skill)
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including working with advanced features and ensuring accessible presentation structures. (Mandatory skill)
  • In-depth knowledge of Section 508 Compliance, with the ability to identify and remediate non-compliant content effectively. (Mandatory skill)
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word, including complex document formatting, styles, and layout adjustments to ensure uniformity.
  • Experience in creating, modifying, and maintaining accessible templates for Word and PowerPoint documents.
  • Keen attention to quality assurance, reviewing documents for formatting consistency, accessibility, and client requirements.
  • Efficient at time management, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve document formatting and accessibility issues rapidly and effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Remediate Word documents and PowerPoint presentations to achieve accessibility compliance with Section 508 standards and best practices.
  • Audit and enhance the formatting, structure, and navigation of client-facing documents and presentation materials.
  • Create, update, and maintain accessible templates that support consistent and compliant document generation.
  • Perform detailed quality assurance checks to identify and correct formatting or accessibility issues before final delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to interpret requirements and deliver solutions that meet accessibility goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest accessibility trends, guidelines, and technologies related to document remediation.
  • Educate and support internal teams regarding document preparation, formatting standards, and compliance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of remediation work, project timelines, and compliance certifications for future audits.
