Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager in Modern Trade - West Bengal, located in Rajarhat. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the territory's modern trade business, developing strong relationships with key clients, executing sales strategies to achieve targets, monitoring market trends, and ensuring effective distribution and visibility of products. The role involves regular market visits, competitor analysis, ensuring prompt resolution of customer queries, and working closely with the internal team to align marketing and promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management and strategy development
- Excellent relationship-building and client management skills
- Strong analytical skills for competitor analysis and market trend monitoring
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in sales reporting and meeting sales targets
- Familiarity with FMCG sector
- Flexibility to travel within the territory
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
