A global consulting company is seeking dynamic and experienced professionals to join its growing Indirect Tax team. As part of the team, you will get to handle tax compliances for large accounts which allows you to have a 360-degree exposure in Tax, including Advisory & litigation management

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client-facing indirect tax (GST/Customs/FTP) engagements: scoping, compliance, representation, advisory, litigation, technical reviews, and on-time delivery.
  • Liaise with clients and advise on indirect tax strategies and exposure.
  • Manage risk and advise on impacts of proposed tax law changes.
  • Oversee indirect tax practice across locations if required.
  • Track and provide insights on developments in indirect taxes (India & global).
  • Plan and execute practice development initiatives (standardizing processes, protocols).
  • Assume P&L responsibility for defined scope.
  • Collaborate with partners/sales teams for lead generation and order book conversion.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships; identify opportunities for existing and new clients.
  • Achieve KPIs: lead generation, sales closure, client mining, and product campaigns.
  • Support reporting/MIS for leadership on practice and sales progress.

Key Requirements:

  • CA with 8 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax, with strong expertise in GST and erstwhile indirect tax laws.
  • Proven experience in compliance, advisory, representation, litigation, and client portfolio management
  • Hands-on in managing GST implementation projects end-to-end and liaising with government authorities.
