1. Role Summary
The Tax Manager will lead the Direct and Indirect Tax functions across group companies
including a GIFT City SEZ unit. The role includes ownership of Income Tax, Tax Audit, GST
oversight, TDS governance, assessments, and tax planning across businesses.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Direct Taxes
 Manage preparation & filing of corporate ITRs
 Review computation of income, depreciation, MAT
 Lead Tax Audit (Form 3CD)
 Manage Transfer Pricing documentation (If applicable)
 Advance tax computation & planning

B. TDS Governance
 Review TDS across entities
 Manage 24Q/26Q/27Q returns
 Review 15CA/CB processes
 Ensure compliance for foreign payments (u/s 195)

C. GST Oversight
 Review GST workings
 Ensure compliance in multi-state registrations
 Final review of GST returns, reconciliations
 Support GST audits
 Ensuring SEZ Compliances

D. Notices & Assessments
 Draft replies for Income Tax & GST notices

 Handle faceless assessments and scrutiny
 Liaise with consultants and authorities

E. Tax Planning
 Provide tax advisory for new products/business models
 SEZ tax-benefit monitoring & compliance
 Evaluate tax-efficient structures

F. Process & Automation
 Implement SOPs & tax controls
 Take lead for building robust tax reports
 Automate reconciliations via ERP/system integrations

G. Supporting Statutory Audit & Compliances
 Closing Tax points in Stat Audit and due diligence
 Ensuring ICOFR is always compliance with and documentation is maintained
 Co-ordinate with compliance team and consultant for timely filling of statutory returns and forms (including filing under Companies Act, FEMA/RBI, SEBI, IRDA etc.).

3. Required Skills
 Strong in Direct Tax, Tax Audit & TDS
 Good exposure to GST
 Experience in Fintech/Broking/NBFC preferred
 Strong drafting & interpretation skills
 Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge
