Job Purpose
Cerberus Capital Management ("CCM") is recruiting a new team member for the newly formed Entity Management team. You will join a dynamic team as a generalist assisting with Account Onboarding, Trading Agreements, and KYC/AML requests. In the role, you will work equally with each team leveraging technology to streamline the process.

You will manage the onboarding of new bank accounts, communications with banking relationships, and training/assistance for internal stakeholders on systems. Additionally, you will have oversight of an automated platform used to onboard fund bank accounts, administering CCM's counterparty bank platforms by adding entitlements and permissions for each new account and the permitting new/existing users with various access levels.

We seek an individual with experience on S&P Global's Counterparty Manager platform or a similar system. The ability to coordinate multiple onboarding workstreams with internal colleagues, in addition to our banking partners, is integral to success. As is someone who will take the initiative to process new requests and complete onboardings accurately and in a timely manner. You should be a forward thinker and great communicator.

Responsibilities/Deliverables

  • Serve as bank account onboarding administrator for internal users, external law firm and banking relationships and provide training/assistance on applications
  • Manage onboarding process, and provide assistance to resolve any issues for onboarding requests
  • Update reporting each time a bank account is opened to ensure the link between the platform and the reporting feed is working and up-to-date
  • Complete Ad Hoc Signature Request Forms sent by counterparty banks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax, compliance, finance, etc., to build relationships and organize data to achieve efficiencies across various infrastructure initiatives
  • Assist with managing external and internal business relationships with in-house attorneys and external Law Firms and other vendors
  • Perform periodic and event-driven KYC refreshes to maintain ongoing compliance and data integrity.
  • Process high volume of KYC/AML requests, organizing data with internal teams
  • Support negotiation and execution of trading agreements (e.g., ISDA, GMRA, MRA) by collecting entity data, coordinating signatures, and tracking status across counterparties and legal teams.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working in account onboarding or KYC/AML function at an asset manager or bank.
  • Professional experience with bank account systems administration, treasury operations, and cash management
  • Experience with S&P Global Counterparty Manager a plus
  • Operational background with demonstrated ability to work with various system platforms and assist with system integrations
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and meticulous
  • Able to manage requests from multiple sources, multi-task, and prioritize
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and recommend solutions to project leads and internal teams to gain efficiencies
  • Ability to quickly process ad-hoc information/problems and generate effective solutions to address issues
  • Must work well independently, be initiative-taking - follow-up and follow-through skills essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
