With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward. We are seeking an experienced and proactive AM – Accounts Payable and GL to oversee our Finance operations. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting, excellent communication skills, strong Excel proficiency, and team-handling experience.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and doing quality checks. Must have worked on huge data and utilized MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Monitor AP operations to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Review the related GL balances and be able to reconcile any differences. Should understand GLs like advances, amortization and Fixed Asset accounting. Must be a Champion of Change and drive new ways of working.
Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional SPOCs and stakeholders and provide resolution. Closely work with management for strategic decision makingProviding support in periodic internal and external Audit.
What you'll need:B.Com/M.Com/MBA/ CA7 years+ experience in similar role in Finance and AccountingLead and supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and doing quality checks. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.). Excellent communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to handle high volumes of transactions and deadlines. Who will excel?
