About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic
Workplace Specialist
to provide comprehensive operational support for our Chennai office. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple administrative, facility, and vendor-related tasks while ensuring a smooth and engaging workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee
day-to-day office operations
and ensure seamless functioning of all workplace activities. - Act as the
first point of contact
for employees, vendors, and guests, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. - Manage
vendor coordination
for facilities, housekeeping, transportation, and
cafeteria/snack services
. - Handle
travel management
, courier logistics, supply ordering, and overall office upkeep. - Coordinate with IT and HR for workstation setup, onboarding, and administrative support.
- Plan and execute
internal events
, employee engagement activities, and SWAG distribution. - Ensure adherence to
facility safety
, maintenance, and compliance standards. - Support global workplace projects and drive
process improvements
for operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in
office administration, facilities, or workplace management
within a corporate or tech environment. - Strong skills in
vendor management
, multitasking, and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with
Google Workspace, MS Office, Slack, Concur, and JIRA
(preferred). - A self-driven individual with a
positive, can-do attitude
and ability to work across global teams.
