About the Role

Throne Solutions is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience providing hands-on end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (Windows & macOS).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and configurations in Office 365 / Google Workspace environments.
  • Respond to and resolve service tickets in systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, or Zendesk.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Perform routine system checks, updates, and patch management.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to users and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and support logs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows / macOS troubleshooting, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN), and hardware diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Must Have at Least One):

  • CompTIA A+
  • ITIL Foundation
