Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Modular Kitchen and Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing modular kitchen layouts, wardrobes, and customized furniture solutions that align with client requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D design layouts for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and furniture using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc).
  • Prepare BOQs, material lists and technical drawings for production and installation.
  • Coordinate with the production and site execution teams to ensure design accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Suggest suitable materials, finishes and hardware as per project and budget.
  • Modify designs based on client feedback and site constraints.
  • Stay updated on current trends, materials, and technology in modular furniture and interior design.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements and installation supervision when required.
  • Ensure adherence to company design standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in modular kitchen and furniture design.
  • Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar software.
  • Strong visualization and space planning skills.
  • Good understanding of modular furniture materials, hardware, and fittings.
  • Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in residential/commercial/institutional modular furniture design.
  • Knowledge of production and installation processes.
  • Attention to detail and a good sense of aesthetics.
  • Team player with a problem-solving approach.
