Senior Human Resources Generalists – Kaizen Partners

Kaizen Partners is a global investment banking and financial advisory platform with strong practices across equity fundraising, debt syndication, structured solutions, and strategic finance. With active engagements across India, the Middle East, and Europe, we work closely with founders, promoters, and senior leadership teams on capital raising and strategic transactions.
As we scale aggressively, we are looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager who can architect our people engine, strengthen cultural foundations, and drive talent excellence across all functions.
Role Mission
Build a high‑performance, compliant, value‑driven people organization that enables Kaizen Partners to execute deals faster, scale operations, and maintain a culture of ownership, integrity, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
1) HR Strategy & Leadership
- Design and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build a scalable HR framework covering recruitment, performance management, learning & development, compensation, and compliance.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to leadership on people matters, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
2) Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Lead end‑to‑end hiring for Investment Banking, Research, Product, Operations, and Support teams.
- Develop strong talent pipelines through campus programs, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and senior‑level headhunting.
- Create employer branding content,JD templates, recruitment campaigns, and presence across job portals.
3) Performance Management & KPIs
- Own OKR framework and quarterly performance evaluations.
- Develop role‑based scorecards for Associates, Analysts, and senior deal teams.
- Institute PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) process with high documentation standards.
4) Employee Relations & Culture
- Build a healthy, transparent, and values‑aligned culture.
- Drive engagement activities, communication cadence, team offsites, and recognition programs.
- Serve as the escalation point for concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
5) Learning & Development
- Design training roadmaps: IB fundamentals, financial modelling, compliance, soft skills, leadership development.
- Partner with external trainers or create internal modules for continuous upskilling.
6) Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws, HR audits, PF/ESIC, onboarding documents, and statutory filings.
- Oversee payroll, attendance, leave management, and HRMS implementation.
- Maintain high documentation hygiene for hiring, exits, and performance cycles.
7) Leadership Collaboration
- Work closely with the MD, VPs, and senior leadership to forecast manpower, manage budgets, and align people strategies with business growth.
- Participate in leadership meetings; present HR dashboards, hiring metrics, attrition trends, and culture insights.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
- Strong hiring engine: TAT reduced and predictable pipeline for IB, Operations & Product teams.
- Fully implemented OKR/PMS framework with transparent review cycles.
- Clear L&D pathways for Analysts → Associates → Senior roles.
- Improved culture score and employee engagement across teams.
- Zero compliance gaps; HRMS adoption across the firm.
- Specific KPIs will be aligned during onboarding based on headcount plans and deal team requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong grip on hiring for financial services, investment banking, consulting, and fintech.
- Deep understanding of HR policies, Indian labor laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- High ownership, maturity, confidentiality, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to run dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
Must‑Have Qualifications
- 6–12 years of HR experience with at least 3–5 years in a senior/lead role.
- Proven experience hiring for financial services, fintech, investment banking, consulting, or startups.
- Strong understanding of PMS/OKRs, HR analytics, and policy creation.
- MBA in HR or relevant field preferred.

- Experience in scaling teams in high‑growth environments.
- Exposure to global/remote teams or multi‑location HR management.
