Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee the organizations IT infrastructure, covering both hardware and software domains. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation, security, and scalability of systems, while leading the IT team in delivering efficient technical support and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 11 -15 years of IT experience with a demonstrated track record successfully managing projects with cross-functional, distributed teams.
  • Should have experience in leading IT Infra teams managing IT operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing systems and processes to deliver systems and support operations.
  • Experience in training, and mentoring teams to deliver mission critical systems.
  • Proven experience of managing teams responsible for Windows, network operations & IT security especially within the healthcare domain is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lead teams across a range of end user platforms including service desk operations, contact center solutions, & knowledge management system.
  • Lead IT infra initiatives at business unit level
  • Lead IT infra teams to maintain the system architecture and support operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, minimizing deviations and preventing unnecessary escalations.
  • Partner with vendors and service providers in building and maintaining relationships to deliver IT services efficiently.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain all hardware systems (servers, desktops, laptops, networking devices, printers, etc.) and software applications (ERP, CRM, productivity tools, etc.).
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, storage, and backup systems.
  • Oversee system upgrades, installations, configurations, and troubleshooting for both hardware and software.
  • Ensure data security, disaster recovery planning, and regular backups.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, and warranty support.
  • Manage user access, licensing, and compliance for all software.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members and end-users on IT systems.
  • Monitor and improve system performance, ensuring minimum downtime.
  • Prepare IT budgets and ensure cost-effective technology utilization.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, system administration, and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

  • Education (degree): Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent.

  • Professional Qualifications are preferred but not necessary: MCSE
