    Quality Control Chemist
    to join our team.

Role Description

  • The QC Chemist will be responsible for conducting high-quality analytical testing of pharmaceutical samples in alignment with
    NABL
    ,
    ISO/IEC 17025
    , and pharmacopeial standards (
    IP/BP/USP/EP
    ).
  • This role requires strong analytical abilities, hands-on instrument expertise, and strict adherence to data integrity and documentation practices.
  • You must be able to independently operate
    HPLC, GC, AAS
    and other key analytical instruments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis of
    Raw Materials, Intermediates, Finished Products
    , and monograph-based tests (IP/BP/USP/EP).
  • Carry out instrumental analysis using
    HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, KF, AAS
    , and other laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare, standardize, and maintain
    volumetric solutions, reagents, and working standards
    .
  • Ensure accurate documentation in line with
    GLP, GDP
    , and
    ISO/IEC 17025
    requirements.
  • Participate in
    method verification
    , calibration checks, intermediate checks, and
    IQ/OQ/PQ
    related activities.
  • Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot analytical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with
    data integrity (ALCOA+)
    , lab safety norms, and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for review and release of analytical reports.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry)
    /
    B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Ph.D.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience
    preferred (freshers with strong concepts and instrument exposure may also apply).
  • Prior experience in a
    NABL-accredited laboratory
    is an advantage and would be preferred.
  • Strong practical skills in sample preparation, wet chemistry, titrations, and chromatographic techniques.
  • Knowledge of
    pharmacopeial methods
    , regulatory guidelines, and calibration practices.
  • Good data interpretation, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, discipline, and integrity in a fast-paced lab environment.
