Digital Marketing Specialist

Looking for Digital Marketing Expert for Admissions who will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to drive student recruitment and enrolment for the university. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, data analysis, and admissions processes.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to attract prospective students, leveraging channels such as social media, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), email marketing, and content marketing.
- Collaborate with admissions and other departments to align digital marketing efforts with overall recruitment goals.
b) Digital Channel Management:
- Manage and optimize digital channels, including social media, website, and email marketing platforms.
- Develop and implement content calendars and publishing schedules to ensure consistent and engaging content.
c) Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze digital marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness, track student engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on digital marketing performance, including metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and lead generation.
d) Content Creation and Management:
- Develop and manage content for digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and website content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
e) Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of digital marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
Profile Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Master's degree or higher preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on student recruitment.
- Experience working in higher education or a similar environment preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, social media analytics, and CRM software
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute effective digital marketing strategies to drive student recruitment and enrolment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, data analysis, and admissions processes, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Selected candidates will have a natural proficiency in MS Office Suite with Hands on experience in MS Excel and Power Point. Smart candidates with Excellent Communication and Presentation skills with maturity to handle various constituents of the eco-system, shall be a prerequisite.
