Remote, India Whimsical Events and Exhibits Full time ₹ 38,40,000 - ₹ 52,00,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue related to exhibitions and events.
  • Support financial analysis for event profitability and cost control.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor payments, client billing, and contracts.
  • Implement best practices in financial control and process improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting (preferably in exhibitions/events/hospitality industry).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP and/or IFRS preferred).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Exposure to IFRS reporting or transition projects.
  • Experience in the exhibitions, events, or hospitality industry.
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification (in progress or completed) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹55,000.00 per month
