Business Development Associate

Role Overview
The Business Development Associate will focus on expanding GoodVolt's presence across Karnataka and nearby regions by generating leads, building strong client relationships, and supporting the sales cycle from enquiry to order finalization. The role demands both technical understanding and business acumen within the electrical and MEP industry.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, builders, OEMs, and end clients.
Generate and follow up on enquiries for electrical panels and power distribution systems.
Coordinate with the design and estimation teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
Conduct regular visits to client sites, consultants, and EPC firms to present company capabilities.
Track tenders, quotations, and project updates to ensure timely follow-up and closure.
Support the marketing team in local promotional activities, exhibitions, and client outreach.
Maintain a structured sales pipeline and provide weekly progress reports to management.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
1–3 years of experience in business development or sales within the electrical panel / switchgear / MEP industry.
Strong knowledge of HT/LT panels, switchboards, control panels, and power systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with client visits across Karnataka.
