Responsibilities

Role and Responsibility

  • Lead research of market and global design trends and identify suitable design themes for Adani Realty for on-going and future projects as per company vision / strategy. Monitor and evaluate the performance of design firms considering quality, delivery, cost and other criteria, resolve issues or disputes (if any) with external firms.
  • Lead modelling of different design options with their financial (NPV/ IRR) / market (customer demand, trends) implications, commercial viability and provide assessment for different design alternatives for the projects.
  • Lead development of conceptual and detailed design of various projects such as façade engineering, landscaping, interior designing etc. Coordinate architectural designs with Architectural, Structural & MEPF Consultant, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Develop design and development plan for the projects to create the desired impact on the market segment and monetize the land asset in the best possible manner.
  • Lead selection of different design, master and architectural consultants / experts and leverage on their expertise (design concepts) for projects. 
  • Oversee development process with regards to design concept. Monitor development / project construction to ensure design inputs / master plan/ other relevant guidelines are implemented to achieve project vision on the ground.
  • Provide continuous support and supervision during construction – both on-site and off-site and ensure quality of construction is in line with the overall quality parameters of the project Value Engineering.

Technical Skills

  • Thorough understanding of Architectural design standards, codes, and regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of design management systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in design software like Autodesk, BIM, etc.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor in Architecture / Masters in Architecture
  • More than 20 years of work experience with at least 5 years relevant experience in leading of Architectural Design of a mid/large size organization
  • Must have led the Architecture design function for multiple projects / locations 
  • Experience in Real Estate / Design Consulting Organizations
  • Exposure to international projects
