Design Engineer (SOLIDWORKS)

Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Development:

· Design sheet metal structures, including L-channel and C-channel frameworks.

· Perform CFD Analysis, stress-strain analysis, and other mechanical simulations.

· Develop detailed 3D models, layouts, and drawings using SOLIDWORKS, including SHEET METAL and Weldment modules.

· Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BoM) and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for designs.

· Fabrication & Manufacturing:

· Collaborate with fabrication teams for sheet metal and structural fabrication processes.

· Optimize designs for tolerances, nesting, and efficient manufacturing.

· Conduct market surveys to source materials and components aligned with project requirements.

· Site Visits & Execution:

· Travel to project sites within India and internationally for design implementation and execution.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design integration and on-ground problem-solving.

Key Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.

· Experience: 1+ years in mechanical design, with hands-on experience in SOLIDWORKS (SHEET METAL and Weldment modules).

Skills & Expertise:

· Strong knowledge of metal characteristics, structural fabrication, and tolerances.

· Proficiency in drafting, nesting, and creating detailed technical documentation.

· Ability to perform CFD and stress-strain analyses in ANSYS

· Willingness to travel for site execution (Passport is mandatory).
