The purpose of this job is to ensure the integrity, compliance, and efficiency of purchase order processing within our organization. This role is responsible for reviewing purchase orders in reference to appropriate catalogs and contracts and supporting the maintenance of procurement catalogs in the P2P system. Additionally, the position ensures that all purchase orders (not linked to a contract) reference an engagement request and oversees risk management by escalating moderate to high-risk purchase orders to procurement leads for further investigation. Through these activities, the role contributes to robust procurement governance and optimized purchasing workflows.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Review Purchase Orders (POs) to assess is the appropriate contract and/or Engagement Request was referenced
- Support creation/maintenance of catalogs in P2P
- Route higher risk purchase requests are sent to Procurement for further investigation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full time University is mandatory
- 1-3 years of experience
