Experience: 5+ years in a role such as Head of Accounts, Financial Controller, or
similarpreferably in logistics, supply chain, or shipping.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Reporting
Oversee end-to-end financial operationsi ncluding General Ledger, Accounts
Payable/Receivable, cash flow, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) for
accuracy and strategic insight.
- Generate and present timely MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance
analyses.
Compliance, Taxation & Audits
Manage all statutory filings and compliance such as GST, TDS, tax returns, and
other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, ensuring smooth internal and external audit
processes.
- Drive implementation of internal controls and best practices in accounting,
taxation, and regulatory filings.
Team Leadership & Process Oversight
Lead and mentor the accounting teamsetting goals, providing feedback, and
developing capabilities.
- Streamline financial processes such as invoicing, freight billing, reconciliations,
and fund distribution.
Strategic Planning & Analysis
Collaborate with operations and logistics to align financial strategy with business
objectives.
- Conduct financial modelling to identify cost-saving opportunities and support
strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
Act as a liaison with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other financial
stakeholders.
