We're a small, fast-growing Asian café known for our fresh, flavorful dishes inspired by Chinese, Thai, Filipino, and Burmese cuisines. We take pride in consistency, teamwork, and a passion for great food.
Position Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work directly under the Head Chef and help manage our small kitchen team. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to maintain quality and speed during service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
 - Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
 - Maintain food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
 - Oversee inventory, mise-en-place, and daily prep schedules.
 - Step in to cook during peak hours or when required.
 - Train and support junior team members.
 
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an Asian kitchen (Chinese/Thai/Asian fusion preferred).
 - Strong communication skills — must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
 - Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team effectively.
 - Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
 - A positive attitude, reliability, and passion for cooking.
 
Location: Goa
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Based on experience (with meals and accommodation provided, if required)
