Job Title: Indian Sous Chef
Location: Goa
Reports To: Executive Chef
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and creative Indian Sous Chef with strong expertise in Indian fine-dining cuisine. The role requires excellent culinary skills, leadership, and innovation to support the Executive Chef in delivering authentic, high-quality Indian dishes with modern presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to plan and execute premium Indian menus, including regional specialties and chef's specials.
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistency, high standards, and attention to detail.
- Innovate and modernize traditional recipes while maintaining authenticity.
- Oversee food plating and presentation to fine-dining standards.
- Maintain strict hygiene and HACCP compliance.
- Control food costs, wastage, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Train and guide junior chefs in advanced cooking techniques and presentation.
- Handle VIP events, private dining, and special culinary requests.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in reputed hotels or fine-dining restaurants.
- Mastery in Indian cuisine (North, South, and regional dishes).
- Culinary degree/diploma preferred.
- Strong creativity and menu development skills.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and guest orientation.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹16, ₹62,787.49 per month
