We are looking for a skilled Chef De Cuisine to join our team at Hyatt Regency, with 2-8 years of experience in the culinary industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and be able to work well under pressure.
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other chefs and staff members to achieve culinary excellence.
- Develop new recipes and menus to keep culinary offerings fresh and innovative.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented safely and efficiently.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef De Cuisine or similar role in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to maintain high levels of quality and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, and the ability to troubleshoot issues when they arise.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the culinary industry.
