Location:
Openings in multiple industrial hubs across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Gujarat
(Candidates must be located in/near the target territory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive B2B sales of C&I rooftop solar and ground-mounted solar projects (100 kWp to multi-MW scale).
- Develop leads through industrial parks, MSME clusters, referrals, associations, and self-initiated activities.
- Conduct site assessments, coordinate technical due diligence, and explain system benefits (savings, ROI, payback).
- Engage with decision-makers (MDs, CFOs, Plant Heads) to close high-value solar deals.
- Work closely with the engineering and proposal team to deliver technical and commercial proposals.
- Ensure monthly and quarterly sales targets are achieved; escalate risks proactively.
- Maintain CRM updates, lead funnel tracking, and reporting to Regional / National Sales Head.
- Act as the face of Guna Solar in your territory, build brand reputation, attend events, and gather market intelligence.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Mandatory: Minimum 3-8 years of direct solar sales experience (C&I rooftop or utility-scale).
- Educational Background: Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Science preferred.
- Target-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas in previous roles.
- Strong understanding of solar technology (modules, inverters, BOS, policies, payback, PPA vs CAPEX, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Other Requirements:
- Own two-wheeler or four-wheeler is mandatory for field travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively across industrial zones in the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in local language + English is preferred.
