Our Opportunity

Work Location: Iron Bridge – Fortescue's Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to support our growing Condition Monitoring team and assist with condition monitoring related tasks and inspections of all critical fixed plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete vibration analysis, NDT, thermographic and other condition monitoring related inspections of onsite equipment
  • Analyse, generate reports and highlight corrective actions for relevant stakeholders in order to reduce unplanned equipment downtime
  • Assisting with RCA other investigative processes at the request of maintenance, production or engineering groups
  • Maintenance of role specific databases including MHM, ALS Webtrieve and PDS
  • Installation and maintenance of remote vibration monitoring systems

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years site experience with mining exposure is required.
  • Preferred to have below training and certifications (however not essential):
    • Vibration analysis training and certifications
    • Lubrication analysis and certifications
    • Infrared Thermography and certifications
    • Ultrasonic thickness testing training and certifications
    • Mechanical trade background
    • Engineering qualification
