Senior Project Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

  • This is a key leadership role that oversees multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop, maintain, and monitor project reports, plans, schedules, and cost details for multiple assigned projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with project stakeholders, conduct site visits to verify progress, and identify critical/risk issues.
  • Team Leadership: Proactively support and manage the project plan/team, adhere to project timing, and best practices to meet operational goals and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Billing and Payment: Process billing and payment according to terms and conditions.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure handing over as per client satisfaction.
  • Issue Resolution: Allocate, monitor, and closure of snags/observation points shared by clients in DLP period and follow up on release of retention amounts.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits of new projects, prepare photographic reports, and submit to the tender team.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and monitor projects.
  • Cost Management: Manage costs effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendors professionally.
  • Timely Billing: Raise client bills as per terms and conditions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Prepare cash flow of each project.
  • Follow-ups: Follow up on client payments.
  • Reporting: Present reports in weekly meetings.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain professional relationships with contractors and clients.
  • Subcontractor Allocation: Allocate works to subcontractors and monitor their progress.
  • Project Audits: Conduct project audits versus actual reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
