Your Role:

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer with leadership potential (3-5 years' experience) who can grow into leading our engineering team. This role goes beyond writing code, you'll take ownership of core modules, guide other developers, and work closely with the Product and Growth teams to bring ideas to life.

You will be working on the AI platform covering:

• AI Assistant & Agentic backend workflows , sockets, REST APIs)
• Webhooks + integrations with EHRs, calendars, CRMs, and messaging services
• Real-time frontend (React) for our clinic dashboard
• Agent orchestration logic (prompt routing, response caching, fallback functions)
• Secure handling of audio files, transcripts, and API metadata

Your Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications (MERN stack).
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate AI-driven features.
• Take ownership of critical product modules, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Mentor and guide junior developers; conduct code reviews.
• Work closely with the Product Head and Operations to align on roadmaps and delivery.
• Contribute ideas proactively to improve system design, user experience, and team processes.
• Uphold best practices for documentation, testing, and security.
• Be prepared to step into a Team Lead role as the team grows.
• Develop and maintain scalable APIs for our AI agents and dashboard.
• Build integrations with Twilio, Firebase, Google APIs, and clinic-specific EHR services APIs.
• Optimize performance of backend jobs, databases, and asynchronous functions/
• Collaborate with AI engineers on voice-to-text and text-to-speech logic, prompt flows, and bot intelligence features.
• Build reusable, high-performance frontend components in , styled with Tailwind CSS.
• Handle database architecture (MongoDB, Firebase Firestore) including indexes, query optimization, and scaling logic.
• Implement CICD workflows for stable, testable deployments (GitHub Actions / Vercel / Render).
• Work with QA to resolve bugs, improve latency, and debug production logs.
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and real-time socket connections.
• Develop secure role-based access control (RBAC) and authentication flows (OAuth/JWT) with encryption keys and tokens.
• Monitor logs and errors, and implement fallback logic for production resilience.
• Ensure PHI-safe workflows by encrypting sensitive data and managing access boundaries.
• Integrate and manage voice APIs like Twilio Voice, and Whisper.
• Support prompt-based workflows, caching AI-generated responses.
• Handle real-time agent memory/state, fallback logic, and data annotation.
• Securely store, process, and route transcripts, voice files, and token payloads.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to test latency, token usage, and failover strategies.
• Simulate patient personas and edge cases during QA testing of agentic interactions.
• DevOps exposure - CI/CD pipelines, cloud logging, autoscaling, documentation
