About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with a strong background in finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in a regular, full-time role and the ability to independently manage end-to-end financial operations for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with IND-AS/Accounting Standards.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle direct and indirect taxes including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax returns and statutory forms.
  • Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government officials as required.
  • Conduct tax planning to optimize financial performance.

Internal Controls & Audit

  • Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for annual audits.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and regulatory standards.

Financial Management

  • Evaluate financial performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Assist senior management in strategic planning and financial decision-making.
  • Review and approve payroll, vendor payments, and expense controls.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage banking operations, loan documentation, and fund management.
  • Oversee ERP/Accounting software processes and ensure data accuracy.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), fully qualified.
  • Minimum
    10 years
    of work experience in accounting, finance, and compliance.
  • Solid knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and applicable Indian regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
