About the Position

We are looking for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) who can support audit assignments and day-to-day audit operations. The role is suitable for individuals who have completed CA Inter and have practical exposure to audit work in a CA firm environment.

Role ResponsibilitiesAudit Execution

  • Carry out audit work as per instructions from the audit lead or partner.
  • Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy of disclosures.
  • Perform audit procedures in line with Standards on Auditing (SAs).

Internal Audit Support

  • Participate in internal audit fieldwork and document key observations.
  • Test internal controls, verify transactions, and identify process concerns.
  • Contribute to drafting internal audit findings and basic management notes.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Support the team in meeting statutory timelines for audits and filings.
  • Maintain organized audit documentation for review and reference.
  • Coordinate with client teams to collect information and resolve queries.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned tasks independently and meet deadlines.
  • Work effectively with seniors and team members on multiple engagements.
  • Maintain professionalism in client interactions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA (passed IPCC or equivalent).
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in a CA Firm is mandatory.
  • Practical exposure to statutory or internal audit work.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and audit techniques.
  • Ability to prepare working papers and audit documentation accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Salary Range

Up to ₹4,00,000 per annum

Additional Information

  • The role may require short visits to client sites within Chennai.
  • Candidates must be available for a full-time on-site position.
