Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant in Chennai. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial advice to clients. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, tax planning, financial reporting, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. The role also involves liaising with clients, resolving financial discrepancies, and ensuring timely filing of statutory obligations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, tax planning, and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
  • Experience in conducting audits and resolving financial discrepancies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide strategic financial advice and support decision-making
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the legal and compliance aspects of accounting is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and Chartered Accountant certification
