Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Design Engineer
to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in mechanical design, with hands-on experience in
Sheet Metal Fabrication
and
Machining Drawings
, along with a keen interest in developing expertise in 3D modeling, drafting, and engineering calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify
    3D models
    ,
    2D drawings
    , and
    BOMs
    using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
  • Prepare
    Sheet Metal Fabrication Drawings
    and
    Machining Drawings
    with high accuracy and precision.
  • Assist in designing
    mechanical structures and hydraulic systems
    as per project requirements.
  • Ensure drafting and detailing comply with
    GD&T standards
    and internal quality guidelines.
  • Perform basic
    engineering calculations
    to support design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
    redesign and optimize components
    for performance and manufacturability.
  • Coordinate with
    manufacturing and assembly teams
    to ensure design feasibility and efficient production.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Sheet Metal Fabrication
    and
    Machining Processes.
  • Understanding of
    GD&T
    and basic engineering calculations.
  • Experience or exposure to
    structural and hydraulic systems
    is an added advantage.
  • Excellent
    analytical, detailing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a
    team-oriented environment
    and meet project deadlines.
