Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient
Process Engineering
with a strong foundation in
Mechanical Engineering principles
to drive operational excellence within our manufacturing and production processes. This role offers hands-on experience in applying technical knowledge to streamline workflows, ensure product quality, and optimize the entire production lifecycle, from procurement to final assembly. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering design and efficient execution, contributing directly to resource utilization and overall business performance.

₹12,000 to ₹20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and
  execute machining, assembly, trials, and quality assessments of parts, components, and sub-assemblies
  while ensuring strict adherence to engineering designs and technical specifications (e.g., GD&T).
• Participate directly in
  product assembly
  and rigorous functional testing to troubleshoot issues and validate performance against design requirements.
• Assist in
  maintaining accurate technical records
  and updating documentation related to Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support the planning and
  procurement of critical stock materials and mechanical components
  in coordination with the engineering team to ensure material compatibility and compliance.
• Manage scheduling and
  logistics for external vendors and suppliers
  handling engineered parts and specialized manufacturing services.
• Design and implement workflow improvements across the manufacturing and operational chain to optimize equipment, labour, and material utilization, including leading small-scale Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct data recording and analysis of performance metrics such as cycle time, defect rates, and material usage to generate data-driven insights for process and design improvements.
• Contribute to daily administrative tasks, including maintaining records, organizing files, and updating systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in cross-functional projects, collaborating with various teams and engaging in problem-solving discussions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong grasp of fundamental
  mechanical engineering principles, including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate technical data into actionable operational insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with knowledge of ERP systems such as Odoo, Zoho, or SAP considered a plus.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently.

The selection process will comprise three stages:
