Job Title: Software Tester

Location: Cyberpark, Calicut

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our QA team. You will be responsible for evaluating software applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. Your work will help maintain the high quality of our products and deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review software requirements and specifications for clarity and testability
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Perform different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, etc.
  • Prepare test reports, documentation, and metrics for analysis and decision-making
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Software Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
