Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) / Team Building Manager will be responsible for driving business growth in the healthcare and medical tourism domain by building partnerships, developing referral networks, and managing a team of executives. The role focuses on expanding patient inflow from domestic and international markets through strong relationship management and strategic collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with hospitals, clinics, corporate clients, insurance companies, and medical facilitators (domestic & international).
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract international patients seeking medical treatments in India or abroad.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities in healthcare tourism.
  • Create business proposals and pitch presentations for potential partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including doctors, hospitals, and travel partners.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of executives or relationship managers.
  • Set clear sales targets and ensure achievement through effective team leadership.
  • Monitor performance metrics, provide feedback, and motivate the team to achieve goals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Coordinate with digital marketing teams to create targeted campaigns for patient acquisition.
  • Represent the organization at healthcare conferences, exhibitions, and international forums.
  • Develop promotional materials and presentations to support sales initiatives.

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate between hospitals, patients, and facilitators to ensure a seamless treatment journey.
  • Manage pricing strategies, service packages, and negotiations with healthcare providers.
  • Track leads, conversions, and ROI using CRM tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field. (MBA preferred.)
  • Experience: 2-3 years in business development or sales, ideally in healthcare, or medical tourism.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Understanding of healthcare systems, patient flow, and international patient protocols.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
