Role Purpose

The role is responsible for defining enterprise level application/solution/technical architecture of the whole enterprise and providing technology leadership for the entire non mainframe application landscape.

Role Accountability 

1. Define Enterprise Architecture for all non mainframe applications of SBI Card IT landscape 
2. Interact with business & technology stakeholders to understand the current and future state application architecture
3. Perform gap analysis between as is and to be architecture states and find out improvement opportunities 
4. Identify the solution building blocks from the gaps and identify possible technology solutions
5. Perform a make vs. buy vs. reuse decision in defining the solution architecture
6. Review and sign off the HLD (High Level Design ) and LLD (Low level design document) prepared by solution architects 
7. Lead Architecture Change Management during the project execution
8. Provide guidance from an Enterprise Architecture stand point to the Program Management team and ensure appropriate governance controls  are in place for timely and error free delivery
9. Oversee adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines

1. Voice of customer from stakeholders
2. Number of projects delivered with First Time Right
3. Serviceability and uptime of applications as per defined SLAs
4. Timely and error free delivery of IT Strategic Programs
5. Timely and accurate updation of process documentation
6. Process Adherence as per MOU

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

1. Technical maturity of Non Mainframe / Web based application skills - Spring Boot Microservices, APIs, Apache Camel based middleware's
2. Technical maturity of Mobile Application Development Platforms - Cordova, Phonegap, Ionic, React Native
3. Java, J2EE, Netflix OSS microservices Frameworks
4. API (Rest) and Web Services (SOAP) - Service exposure and consumption
5. Knowledge of Hadoop based data lake platforms will be of added advantage
6. Knowledge of DevOps tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube
7. Knowledge of Databases and SQLs (Non-Administration) - Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL

Qualification 

B.E / B-Tech/MCA or equivalent technical degree
