Role Description

A Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects from inception to completion. They ensure projects meet client requirements, are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and comply with regulatory standards. Site Engineer manage teams, coordinate with consultants, and monitor schedules, ensuring the project aligns with the firms vision and client expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and interpret client needs to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure design solutions align with client goals, budget, and local codes/regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to develop cohesive designs.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documents.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure everyone are aligned on project objectives.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Reviewing the project budget and ensuring project completion within the assigned time
  • Creating and maintaining project progress reports
  • Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Resolve design and technical challenges during the construction phase.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules
  • Drafting and designing building plans for various construction projects
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Site Engineer or Project Manager in a reputed architectural firm or in the construction industry
  • Strong experience in educational, commercial, and public agency projects.
  • Knowledge of drafting software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
  • Familiarity with latest architectural design trends and developments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Highly motivated and creative individual
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Building materials & construction Techniques
